The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) offers nutrition counseling, healthy foods, breastfeeding counseling and support, and referrals to community agencies. The program assists low-income prenatal, postpartum and breastfeeding women, infants and children up to five years of age. Our goal is to help women, infants and children live stronger, healthier lives. To find out if you are eligible for the WIC Program you can call a local WIC agency. Applicants have to meet NYS WIC Criteria.
